The Director of Admissions for Southern Tier Catholic School and Archbishop Walsh Academy is responsible for managing an annual series of events, meetings, communications campaigns, and activities designed to recruit qualified students for enrollment at Southern Tier Catholic School and Archbishop Walsh Academy.

The Executive Director of Development, Marketing and Alumni Relations for Southern Tier Catholic School and Archbishop Walsh Academy is the chief fundraising, marketing and alumni relations officer who is responsible for developing and implementing campaigns for the purposes of enhancing alumni relations, enhancing the image, brand, and name recognition of the schools, and generating revenues through events and philanthropic giving to support the operations and strategic goals of the schools.

International Baccalaureate (IB)

The new Archbishop Walsh Academy in Olean is asking students to think differently about a challenging and inspiring curriculum that gives students a distinct advantage in life. Walsh is pursuing the International Baccalaureate – or IB – curriculum – a specialized program of study that develops inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people. Walsh Academy will be one of more than 2,700 schools worldwide offering this rigorous program of study, and the only one of its kind in New York ’s Southern Tier.

Southern Tier Catholic School is No. 1

In this year’s annual Buffalo Business First ranking of the 287 elementary schools in Western New York, Southern Tier Catholic School received the highest rating. Its designation as the number one elementary school in the region marks the first time the distinction has been given to a school outside of Erie County since 1992.
